Refund policy

 

RETURNS
At Chakshu London we offer a 14-day return or exchange policy from the date you receive your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. If your order qualified for free delivery, a £10 delivery fee will be deducted from your refund.

Some items are exempt from a change-of-mind refund: 

  • Prescription lenses (as these are bespoke items),
  • Frames specially ordered for you outside of our current stock range
    (we will always make you aware of this before confirming your order),
  • Bespoke sunglass tints,
  • Delivery charges.

In certain situations only partial refunds are granted. If a glasses frame and prescription are bought together, you will only be refunded for the frame price.

To complete your return, please return your item and email info@chakshu.co.uk to notify us.

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to confirm whether it has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 working days and credited to your original method of payment. If you paid for delivery, the cost of the cheapest standard delivery option will also be refunded.

FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED ITEMS
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund including delivery charges within 30 days of receipt, in line with your statutory rights.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@chakshu.co.uk.

SALE ITEMS
Sale items are exempt and cannot be refunded for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect your statutory rights - if a sale item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are still entitled to a full refund or exchange.

EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please email info@chakshu.co.uk and return it to:

You are also welcome to hand-deliver your return to the same address.

SHIPPING RETURNS

You will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs unless the item is faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where goods are faulty or misdescribed. If you are shipping an item to us, we recommend using a trackable service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
